Are You Ready?
Are You Ready? The excitement is building as we await the first snowfall of the year in the Boston area.
At a projected accumulation of 2 to 4 inches this is a mere dusting.
Now is the time to go over your checklist:
1) Prep the snow-thrower, fill the gas container, fill the car with gas, stock up on sand and salt and get some cash.
2) Find the snow shovels, car scraper, hats, gloves, boots, longies, sweats, portable radio, sleds and toys!
3) Stock up on food, water, flashlights, batteries and hot chocolate.

The Blackberry Internet service is down.
I just got off the phone with Sprint and the entire Blackberry Internet service is down. It took 15 minutes to get through to Sprint and they are so swamped, they are going to call me back in TWO hours.

Mt Redoubt ERUPTS EXPLOSIVELY 3.22.2009
Mount Redoubt Volcano, 106 miles southwest of Anchorage, Alaska, erupted explosively March 22, 2009, at approximately 10:38 PM AKDT, sending a cloud of volcanic ash to an estimated 50,000 feet above sea level. Scientists from the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) are monitoring the volcano closely as the eruption continues.
The Aviation Color Code has been changed from ORANGE to RED: Alert Level has changed from WATCH to WARNING!
The National Weather Service has issued an ASHFALL advisory warning.

Carideo East Boston
I'm Jim Morse, son of Josephine Carideo and William J Morse of East Boston. My mom was the youngest of 11 and their names were Pat, Joe, Frank, John, Ella, Charles, Jeanette, Lillian, Rose, Josephine, & Mello, and they are the children of Carmen & Carolena - Lena (Quadarone), we think. Carmen emmigrated from Naples & Lean was born here, but her parents emmigrated from Sicily.
About 25 or so years ago we had a Carideo reunion and I have a video that my brother Bill sent to me and I'll be posting it on You Tube. I was thinking of having another reunion of all the cousins as all the aunts and uncles have passed away. There are about 100 of us first cousins not counting the children and grandchildren and I would guess that there are over 300 or more of us!!!
